The Far Shore of Aging

Presently in Ottawa with my parents for a few days. Learning how to move at a pace that doesn’t distract me from the discomforts of watching my parents age, witnessing the inevitability of chronic physical and mental pain. I move at a pace that places me in the center of my parents world as they walk their paths, as they journey forward into the unknown. And me centering and re centering  but also tumbling and stumbling as i get wrapped up in my own guilt of wanting to do more, be more.
